Andy is a Chartered Forester and Chartered Environmentalist, with over 20 years experience working with trees.  He has a strong practical background, working as a climber in Germany in the early 1990s before returning to a spell as a Tree Surgery Manager with a UK AA Approved Contractor.  He progressed to setting up his own contracting business in 1995 and reinforced his practical credentials by becoming a Chainsaw Instructor and NPTC Assessor in Units 30–41. More recently, he has held Tree Officer posts for nine years at East Dorset District Council and Test Valley District Council.  Andy joined us in early 2007 and is in the process of being assessed for AA Registered Consultant status.
