Andy is an AA Registered Consultant, a Chartered Forester and Chartered Environmentalist, with over 25 years of experience working with trees. He has a strong practical background, working as a climber in Germany in the early 1990s before returning to work as as a Tree Surgery Manager with a UK AA Approved Contractor, before setting up his own contracting business in 1995. Andy has held Tree Officer posts for nine years at both East Dorset and Test Valley District Council. After joining Barrell Tree Consultancy in early 2007, Andy has been able to apply his considerable knowledge and experience to full effect, in particular working on prestigious projects, in London, specialising in basements near trees.
